I would suggest to go with EAD and AP for spouse as its better then H1B.
You don't have to stick one employee if spouse has EAD and she doesn't need to find job in perticular field if she has EAD...
But for you, I would say just use H1B as long as you can.

I think even if the EB2 I-140 is already approved, you still could port the PD, but most important thing is you need your EB3 I-140 approved for porting the PD. Please talk to a good lawyer.

I'm with you, why is everyone so afraid?
God knows there would be enough people for a class action lawsuit against DOL.
My congressman called DOL and they said my case had been withdrawn: but it had been withdrawn b/c of THEIR errors, TWICE!
Both times it was reinstated and proved to be their error, and they are still using it as an excuse for not processing it yet.
And I thought "developed" countries worked differently than "developing" countries.
If IV has enough people interested I would certainly be interested to participate in a CA suit against DOL. I am losing hope that diplomacy will bring any results for us to be helpful.

That is not true. Nothing will be gained from the lawsuit. There have been lawsuits against DOL before for exactly the ineffciency and slowness. Those lawsuits have failed. They will fail again. Being inefficient is not against the law. See the IV document on DOL- backlogs here :

I am guessingt hat their 485 will not be approved november of this year.So, they can bring the child on h4 into the country. but then if their 485 gets approved in a year of 18 months-- what happens to the child? The HSMP looks very attractive if you don't know the details. Yes, you get a visa even without a job offer but they give you only one year to find a job. After 1 year in the UK you'd better have a job or you will most likely send you back to your home country (you go through a government review after 1 year). Of course, if you find a good job during that first year you should be OK.
The pro I see in this is that if you are patient and work for 5 years in the UK you will get your EU passport and yo now have mobility to other parts of Europe where the IT and other industries might be better (like Ireland)

Thanks for your interest. We did consider all three of them but when we did more research, we found that all three of them did not get their Green Card on EB category. They had come here because their parents had come here.
