Although the thread title says "Reimburse the core team" and I know that the core team will not take any money (and do not expect the memebrs to reimburse them) from the fund that we are planning on creating here...Stilll by contributing to this fund we can make sure that core does not have to bear any out of pocket personal expense in future while working on "our" goal.
Lets see how many of us are actually inetested in contributing. Once we have the number we can set a realistic goal and divide amongst ourselves.
For that I suggest we give this thread good two days to develop and check other members responses...
So here is a chance for everyone to contribute to our own goal. Lets keep this going. Who ever is interested pls reply. I will do a final count after 2 days as suggested and take it from there....

He even risked his job and went to DC on unpaid leave at critical times because lobbying was important for getting our work done. We in the core team know this and when we see the kind of contributions we get from members, we feel disappointed that our efforts are not valued. When we started the $20 contributions people felt $20 was too high and wanted $10 per month or less. Sometimes reading posts that say IV core is selfish also disappoints us. People do not know the effort that goes in getting anything done. This website is simply a tool for us to communicate to everyone. The big effort is the lobbying work. The EB-2 category for Indian nationals has retrogressed four years and will be set at January 1, 2000 for applications received beginning June 1st. Sreeanne is correct. We had one friend who died in 9-11 and his wife and kid got visa to stay back for few years until she finished her paperwork. Plan for 2-3 options for your family, and just dont depend on continuing GC.

If many EB3-I folks are getting GCs then why is EB3-I PD stuck in 2001? Shouldn't it move?
One other note; those eb3 to eb2 conversoins original priority dates were 2003 in eb3.

"EB-2 India. This category is expected to remain unchanged or to move very slowly forward (by a week or so) in the short-term. This is mainly caused by the fact that many EB-3 India applicants (there are approximately 60,000 EB-3 India pending cases) are “porting” their priority dates into the EB-2 India category and are thus taking visa numbers.
EB2 India is slowwly becoming EB3 as thousands are porting from EB3 to EB2. Some of them are really worthy of EB2 and some of them are fradulent.
EB2 India applicants should wake up from their celebratio of a few months leap and get ready for slow movement or retro.
Guys wake up and fight to make the porting rules veryu strong if not stop porting. The rule should be if I140 for porting is denied then the applicatnt should loose his/her initial EB3 priority date also as he /she has indicated that he/she is no longer working in the position as described in EB3 labor. This will make sure that fradulent applicants cannot port from EB3 to EB2.
P.S: I know I will get thousands of REDs. I do not care... EB2 I guys wake up.. Time is running out.. EB2 I will very quickly become same as EB3I.

I appreciate all your inputs on the below mentioned scenario.
1. Company A filed I-140 and approved.
2. Got H1B extension for 3 years (8,9,10th years).
3. Applied I-485 and it is past 180 days.
4. Now Company B hires using H1B and invoking AC21
Stage 4 in detail:
a. Filed H1B transfer and got approval.
b. Informed USCIS about job change with AC21 portability.
c. Submitted new employment verification letter from company B
Now coming to the questions.
1. Would company B be able to request for another 3 year on H1B or only the remaining period will be approved by USCIS?
2. Say now employer A revokes I-140, what will be the status on the approved H1B?
3. Assuming H1B is valid still ( even after revoking I-140), after 10th year will the beneficiary be able to extend H1B? If so based on what pending application the H1B can be extended?
