The link to the contribution page in pappu's post is not working. I want to contribute for the event. Is there any special page through which donations for this event are collected? Or can I just make one time contribution from the home page?

whats funny in that. As you said it is just a prediction...
The guy Affirmatively said "It will be June 2002" and gave me red because the dates i gave were behind , Ithought it was funny because we are all playing the prediction game.....
I am thinking if I should i start a game to predict the dates, and who ever gets closest date will get few greens..... ;)

yea...you are right...it seems they are not processing anything today..
Also i heard that on June 4 th approx 1100 485 apps was receipted. That makes it approx a total of 1800 for jun 1 and 4.
What is the source of the updates/information you have posted.

Its says either
Masters degree or higher from US Univ
or
Masters in STEM with 3 yrs experience.
So Im interpreting it as - if you have Masters degree from US university it doesnt matter what field it is in.
However if you have Masters from a foreign Univ it has to be STEM and you must have 3 yrs exp.
They havent specified STEM for US Univ educated applicants

The tone of ur earlier posting may have hurt some people.
Some of the reforms that happened and some the IV is pursuing will probably help most H4's a long way.
Earlier (even now for those stuck in PBEC) the labor used to take 2-3 years. With PERM most of the labors r taking 4-6 months. I140 also seems to be very fast.
Now if every body is able to adjust their status upon labor approval, that is less than a year's wait time for H4. Not a bad deal.

thanks indigokiwi. The deadline is end of March, but we would like a large amount of this raised much earlier, since it involves making reservations, booking appointments, for Eg. with the lobbyist.

i have a close friend who has been here since 1991 with no GC. he came for his undergraduate studies in 1991..finished that...got a good job...met a girl...got married...girl was also an undergrad here then went to grad school...then lost his job..girl was still in school...lost almost everything
then he built his life back..got a job....started working his way up...girl graduated..worked in a small company and then changed jobs..started gc process for the 3rd time...luckily got ead and ap....girl changed jobs...bought a house...retrogression happened....and hes still waiting
can u beat that...hes been here for 16 years.
putting off decisions is very easy when it comes to gc...many times u just need to bite the bullet and live ur life. dont get me wrong.. i have put off getting my h1b stamped for over 3 yrs...havent been out of the country for 5 yrs...now i have decided its not worth it and will do it sometime this yr.
like russell peter's chinese person says "be a man...do the right thing"

I would advise not to go for your landing. At this point you need to make a decision whether you want to pursue canadian GC or US GC. If you have applied for 485 then it best that you not do the canadian landing. You may have issues when you come back to US. They may ask you why you went to canada and you cannot lie and have to tell them the truth. This may raise questions on your intent to pursue US GC. It all depends on your luck as to who you get the IO. I have heard of a case where a person got RFE on 485 after completing the landing.
If you still want to do the landing then you should be prepared for RFE or NOID on your 485.

One last question: Let's hypothetically say that I do decide to land and somehow manage to get back into the US without any issues using my AP.
